Business visa for Australia

Travellers who want to undertake business meetings and activities in a country that do not qualify as labour or a form of gainful employment are issued business visas by the relevant government authorities. Attending meetings, business conferences, and researching company prospects and projects are typical activities carried out while on a business visa.

Documents- Australia Business Visa

  • An original passport that has a validity of 6 months or more from the date of travel. If there are any old passports, they have to be submitted as well. All pages of the passport have to be notarized and photocopied.
  • A duly filled and signed visa application form.
  • Two recently taken color photos on a white background, each of matte finish and of the size 35 × 45 mm.
  • A cover letter that states the applicant's name, travel date, duration of the stay, meeting information, etc. This has to be on the company's letterhead and must also include a detailed itinerary along with the contact details of both the business parties.
  • A proof of the company's registration.
  • A copy of Form 16/Income Tax documents for the last 3 years.
  • If employed, the applicant has to provide his/her salary slips for the last 6 months.
  • An invitation/request letter from the Australian company.
  • A copy of event/conference registration details.

Eligibility- Australia Business Visa

  • You intend to transfer a particular amount of assets to Australia after moving there (the amount would depend on a visa stream)
  • A business plan or a history of profitable businesses (for some types of visa streams)
  • you should be younger than 55 years old
