There are several family visas available for immigration to Australia because there are various family member kinds that might make up a family.

Documents- Partner Visa

  • Original passport with a validity of 6 months from the travel date. If there are any old passports, they have to be submitted as well. All pages of the passport have to be notarized and photocopied.
  • A duly filled and signed visa application form.
  • Two recently taken colour photos on a white background, each of matte finish and of the size 35 × 45 mm.
  • A cover letter that states the applicant's name, travel details, passport details, and expenses details. If the applicant is self-employed, this information has to be mentioned on the company's letterhead.
  • A copy of Aadhaar card or PAN card.
  • A copy of Form 16/Income Tax documents for the last 3 years if the applicant is employed.
  • A copy of salary slips for the last 3 months if the applicant is employed.
  • Original bank statements for the last 6 months that serves a proof that the applicant is maintaining a healthy and an adequate balance.
  • A proof of the company's registration certificate if the applicant is self-employed. This could be MOA, Shop ACT, etc.
  • A copy of retirement certificate if the applicant is retired.
  • A copy of the applicant's NOC (No Objection Certificate) letter/ID card/Bonafide letter from the respective school or college if he/she is a student.
  • A copy of confirmed return flight tickets or itinerary.
  • A copy of the hotel accommodation.
  • A copy of other financial documents like shares, FD (Fixed Deposits), property papers, mutual funds, NSC, PPF, etc.
  • Children who are below 18 years should give a notarized No Objection Certificate (NOC) from any one of the non-accompanying parents for authorizing the journey to Australia. The NOC has to be attached to their parents' passports.
  • If the children are staying or travelling with their non-relatives, then the person's full name, date of birth, and nationality have to be submitted.

The primary requirement for a child visa is

  • The child must be under the age of 18.
  • The child must be a full-time student who is financially dependent and over 18 but under 25.
  • cannot be married, engaged, or in a relationship with a defector.

Eligibility- Partner Visa

  • The prerequisite for all of the aforementioned visas is the presence of a sponsor, or invitee, who is an Australian national, a permanent resident, or a qualified New Zealand national.
  • You must demonstrate that your connection is sincere and ongoing in order to qualify for a partner visa. One of the key requirements is that you have really met your spouse; other requirements are considerably more specific and are decided on a case-by-case basis because every relationship is different.
  • The candidate must pass the "balance of family test" in order to qualify for a parent visa. This means that in order for a parent to qualify for a parent visa, at least half of their children must reside in Australia.
