The documents needed for an Austrian visa are the same as those needed for any other visa. But you will only have to deal with these changes:
You need to show proof that you have a place to stay. You can get the same information from your hotel, the manager, or the person in charge of the tour. Also, you can get in if you have the right papers that show you plan to travel within the country.
Proof of employment: You need to say that you are a student if you are one. If you work for yourself, you will need to show proof of that.
Salary certificate from the three months before the application or a signed employment contract, as well as permission from the company to take time off.
If you work for yourself, you need a letter from a chartered accountant, a lawyer, or the Chamber of Commerce to prove that you are self-employed.
Students must bring a NOC from their school or college.
You have to show that you have enough money. Original bank statements from the last three months or proof of other funds must be shown.
Income Tax Acknowledgement/ITR-V from the last three years.
