- Tourist Visa
Tourist Visa is given to those people who want to go to Oman for tourism for one month or less. This visa can be extended for one month if informed in time. You may be fined 10 ONR for overstaying. The permit usually comes in a span of 5-10 working days.
- The single-entry visa for 10 days for Oman costs OMR 20/person.
- A single-entry visa for 30 days costs OMR 35/person.
- Multiple-entry visa for one year, costs OMR50/person.

- Business Visa
This visa is given to people going to Oman for business or investment. The business visa is valid for one year from the date of issue. But you cannot stay more than 180 days at a time. This visa also allows multiple entries into the territory of Oman. For this you have to pay 50 OMR. If you want to stay more than this then you have to register in FRRO/FRO within 2 weeks after completion of 180 days. The processing time for the Oman business visa is 3 to 4 business days. The process for obtaining the visa is mainly online and therefore it doesn’t require longer processing time.
- Employment Visa
Some people who want to go to work in Oman need to apply for an employment visa. Applicant must be minimum 21 years of age to work in Oman. This visa is given in three different categories. This visa is granted in validity of 6 months, 1 year and 5 years and allows multiple entries. Employment visa fees differ from country to country. Its fees are also decided according to its validity, although its fees range from 47 OMR to 139 OMR. It depends on you which country you are from and for how long you want the employment visa. Generally, it takes a period of 1 month (approx.) for Visa
- Student Visa
This visa is issued to students who want to come to Oman for educational courses. This visa is valid for six months and allows multiple entries into Oman. With further extensions, students can stay in Oman for 1-2 years. For this, Oman Government takes 32 OMR from the student. There is no standard time for processing this visa, however, most of the students get the visa within 2 weeks of submitting the application.
