Yemen-visa-image as an official British passport holder, you need a visa to enter Yemen, which you can obtain from the Embassy of Yemen in London. Again, if your period of stay in the country exceeds 14 days, you will need to register your passport upon arrival with the Yemeni immigration authorities.
TOURIST VISA
A tourist or visitor visa serves the purpose of entering Yemen for leisurely or sightseeing activities. It is available in single entry type with a validity of two months from the date of issue.
- To apply for a tourist visa you need:
- Completely filled visa application form
- One recent passport size photo.
- Passport with at least six months validity and at least two blank pages

- *If you are applying as a group, your tour must be through a national tourism or travel company in Yemen

business visa
Business visa allows you to enter Yemen for business related activities such as attending conferences, meetings or seminars.
The Single-Entry Business Visa comes with a validity of 2 months. A multiple entry business visa offers a validity of 6 and 12 months. Each of these visa types allows a maximum period of stay of 30 days from the date of entry into the country.
- To apply for a business visa, you must:

An employment letter from your organization in the UK, written on company letterhead, containing your contact details and specifying that the necessary leave of absence has been granted for travel. It should also state the purpose and duration of the trip, and when you will return to work. This should be addressed to the High Commission of Yemen. Again, if you are self-employed, you will need to attach a copy of your business license and tax return. If you are retired, you must include evidence of your retirement funds.
A business letter that is issued by the host company in Yemen. It should give the purpose of travel, dates of travel and proof of sufficient funds. The letter must be addressed to the Consulate General of Yemen, must not be more than one month old, and must include the original signature.
