The Estonian digital nomad visa was created especially for those who intend to live and work remotely in Estonia

Documents required before you apply for Estonia Digital Nomad Visa are listed below

  • Genuine passport : Your passport must have two blank pages, be in good condition, and be valid for at least three months after the return date. provide a copy of any previous visas (if any).
  • A request form: The online application must be completed, printed, and signed before submission. Please make sure you complete the application form completely and honestly. Remember that providing inaccurate information could result in your visa being denied.
  • Work agreement: Show documentation that you have a working contract that is legitimate with a company or client outside of Estonia.
  • Your company must write a letter confirming your intention to work remotely.
  • Financial statement: A document that was issued by your bank during the last six months. The document has to show that you make enough money each month to support yourself while you're visiting Estonia.
  • Evidence of accommodation : Please provide documentation proving your accommodations while visiting Estonia. This document could be a lease, hotel reservation, letter of invitation, etc.
  • Criminal history: A document issued by the police in your country of residence. This document must attest to your lack of criminal history in your native country and your ineligibility for citizenship in the Republic of Estonia.
  • Evidence of health insurance: You must be in possession of current, Schengen-area-inclusive health insurance. Your health insurance must provide €30.000 in coverage.
  • University diploma certificate of training, graduation from your studies, and other certifications (if any).

  • Have a flexible schedule so you can work from home.
  • Being an employee, associate, or stockholder of a business established outside of Estonia.
  • You must have a contract with them if you plan to provide advisory services or work as a freelancer for foreign businesses and clients.
  • Show that you are a digital nomad or a freelancer.
  • Make sure you have a stable financial situation and a minimum monthly income of €3,500.
