Before you visit, you should ensure you have the necessary documents and information to travel to Dubai. To obtain a UAE tourist visa, it is necessary to have the following:
- Your passport is valid for at least six months from the date of arrival
- Two copies of your passport page with your photo on one side and blank on the other side
- Round trip or direct flight itinerary (itinerary) from your home country to Dubai with confirmed flights, including time of departure and return.
If round-trip tickets are unavailable, then at least two one-way tickets must be presented. Once these requirements are met, applicants must fill out an online application and provide additional personal details such as email address, emergency contact number, and occupation/employer's name. You will also need to pay the appropriate fee in advance by credit card or bank transfer.
All payments made online will incur an additional 3% surcharge. All UAE visas come in three types; single entry, double entry, and multiple entries. The length of stay permitted is determined by the type of Visa granted. A Single Entry Tourist Visa allows visitors to stay up to 30 days, while Double Entry Tourist Visas allow up to 60 days per visit within 12 months. Multiple Entry Tourist Visas allow visitors up to 90 days per visit within six months; this type may be required if you plan on staying more than 180 consecutive days over a year within six months.
