The Republic of Luxembourg is a landlocked country in western Europe that has a population of just over half a million. Citizens of the United States, Canada, Australia, and most European Union countries are eligible for a visa on arrival in Luxembourg.
Eligibility criteria for obtaining a Luxembourg visa can be found on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website. Applications can be made online or through an embassy or consulate in your home country. Required documentation includes your passport photo page and at least one recent photograph showing your face clearly. A fee is payable for each application processed.
Citizens of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Haiti, Jamaica, Mexico, Peru and Venezuela must have a valid passport to enter Luxembourg. Nationals of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia*, Macedonia*, Montenegro*, Serbia*, Turkey and Ukraine must also have a visa to visit Luxembourg. All other nationals are required to obtain a visa prior to travel.
