Romania Tourist Visa

Foreign people may need to apply for a Romania tourist visa, also known as a Romania short-stay visa, if they intend to visit the country for a little length of time (Type C). Along with a number of other visas, including the Romania business visa, Romania tourist visas fall under the category of short-stay visas. Short-stay visas for Romania, as the name implies, allow the holder to visit the nation for a limited duration that does not exceed 90 days.

Documents Required to apply for Romania tourist visa are listed below

  • Completed official visa application form
  • Two recent photos, size 3x4
  • A valid passport
  • Documents justifying the purpose of visit, and the intention to return.
  • Travel medical insurance that covers of at least €30,000 regarding medical emergencies
  • A hotel reservation or other document showing lodging is proof of accommodations.
  • A trip schedule, such as a ticket. You must present your driver's licence, the vehicle registration, and your green card if you plan to drive there.
  • Proof of adequate financial resources: €50 each day, but a minimum of €500. You may use that as evidence of your financial capability if you are travelling with a pre-arranged tourist service package and your expenses have been paid in full.

  • It would be ideal if you brought your current passport, six-worth month's of bank statements, and at least two decent photos. Each of them has to be scanned. Only the visa processing system should scan the documents; if any are missing, the user should be verified. A unique mark with a stamp indicating that the scanning procedure is complete is placed on each paper once the papers have undergone inspection.
  • If someone else is travelling with you, you should have a return ticket for yourself. If either of them returns after your visa expires, you are ineligible. Both of them should have your return ticket. Depending on your visa type and the country you are currently staying in, you must pay additional fees for visa updates.
  • People who are ill should obtain a valid prescription from their doctor stating that they are prepared to travel while taking their medications. If the individuals, whether or not they are deemed medically unable to travel, are advised not to do so, then all eligibility requirements must be met. They should have the appropriate prescription from the doctor if they need to travel a lot urgently.
