  • The so-called "Declaration d'Accueil" must be submitted in its original form by the host in France (guarantee document). If the host is from Luxembourg, the same rules apply.

  • Depending on your employment position, you will need to provide the following additional paperwork:
  • Student status documentation is required to demonstrate your status as a student. This could be a copy of the student index and matriculation at the university, which have been signed and stamped by the institution, or it could be the student card. You must provide evidence that you have enough money to cover your full stay in the country you are visiting, such as an employment contract and a bank statement from your parents or host (if applicable).
  • Evidence of employment may include a recent paystub or an original, signed letter from the company.
  • In addition to the bank statement, you must also present your work contract and a vacation authorization from your employer.
  • A letter confirming your status as a self-employed person from a lawyer, accountant, or Companies House serves as proof.
  • Pension statements from the previous six months provide proof of retirement.
