The Schengen Area Member States created the Transit Schengen Visa specifically to make it easier for non-EU/EEA people to travel when they must arrive at a Schengen Area airport in order to board a flight to a non-Schengen destination country. Eligibility Transit Visa Schengen

• You must be a citizen of a nation other than Europe.
• The itinerary and the reason for the trip should be acceptable.
