The following prerequisites must be satisfied by foreigners who want to go to Sierra Leone:

• Not possess a valid visa issued by a country that South Sudan does not recognise. Not be an illegal immigrant.
• Must have a passport that will be valid for at least six months after the date of return.
• You need a confirmed location to stay in the country.
• Must obtain the legal approval of the Ministry of Health;
• Must have sufficient funds saved up to cover daily expenses for the duration of their stay in the country.
• You need a letter of invitation from a South Sudanese friend or family.
