To apply for a Syria visa, you will need to submit the following documents:

-A valid passport with at least six months of remaining validity and at least two blank visa pages

-A completed visa application form. The form must be typed in English or Arabic. If typing in Arabic, you must use an Arabic keyboard

-One recent passport-size photo of the applicant glued or stapled to the application form

-An invitation letter from a Syrian company or individual sponsor. The letter must be on official letterhead and state the sponsor's name, address, telephone number, and relationship to the applicant. It should also indicate the purpose of travel and dates of stay in Syria

-A business letter from your employer in the United States. The letter should state your position within the company, salary, dates of employment, and reason for travel to Syria

-Proof of hotel reservations in Syria. This can be a confirmation email from the hotel or a printout of the reservation

-Flight itinerary showing confirmed tickets to and from Syria

-Proof of medical insurance covering your stay in Syria. The insurance must have coverage of at least $50,000 USD
