An Uganda visa is required for any foreigner who wants to enter Uganda. The visa application process is straightforward and can be done at any authorized embassy or consulate. The visa fee is $50. If you are a national of a Schengen country, your visa will be issued automatically. All other foreign nationals must apply for a visa at an authorized embassy or consulate.

The processing time for an Uganda visa is typically around five working days. However, this can vary depending on the volume of applications received by embassies and consulates. In addition, if you have an accompanying document, such as a passport copy, it may take up to two additional working days to receive the documentation back from the embassy or consulate.

Single-entry visas are usually cheaper than multiple-entry ones, permitting you to stay in Uganda for only one month.
