To enter Lithuania without a visa, citizens of the following countries must present a passport valid for at least 3 months after the planned stay in Lithuania: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia*, Lithuania*, Luxembourg*, Malta*, The Netherlands*, Poland*, Portugal*, Romania* , Slovakia* , Slovenia*, Spain*, Sweden* . For more information on visa requirements please consult the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs website. Please note that citizens of China and Mongolia are not allowed to stay in Lithuania for more than 90 days within a 180 day period.
If you are a citizen of a country not listed above and wish to visit Lithuania for tourism or business purposes (maximum 60 days in any 6-month period), you may be able to apply for a tourist visa at a Lithuanian embassy or consulate. You will need to provide your passport details and evidence that you have sufficient funds to cover your stay (e.g. an advance bank loan). If you are travelling as part of a group of three or more people (or if you are accompanying someone who is travelling on a tourist visa), then you can apply for an organised tourist visa instead. Organised tours generally require pre-booking and an application fee which varies depending on the type of tour being taken. Travellers should also be aware that some visas may be restricted to certain types of travellers (e.g. all-inclusive holiday visas are not valid for travel to areas affected by the Russian military conflict). If you are unsure about any visa requirements, it is always best to contact the Embassy or Consulate of Lithuania in your country of residence.
*Please note that citizens of Latvia who hold a passport from an EU/EEA country do not need a visa to enter Lithuania.
